Martin has nearly 20 years of experience as a leader, manager, consultant and coach. He has worked and consulted at a senior level in a variety of sectors leading departments, teams and complex change projects. As well as working in the US and UK, Martin spent eight years at London Business School, latterly as Director of Strategic Planning and Operations. His experience ranges from finance and industry to health, the arts, local government and higher education. He combines this professional background with specific expertise in strategy, leadership and organizational development. An experienced facilitator, he regularly works with top teams and Boards.
Martin is passionate about unleashing potential – both at the individual and organizational level. He is on the faculty of a number of the UK’s leading organizational development programs and tutors on the London Business School MBA program.
Martin has a degree in Classics from Oxford University and an MBA from London Business School. He is certified as a somatic coach with Strozzi Institute in the US and has trained in psychotherapy at Regent’s College. He is currently co-editing a new book on organizational development to be published by Gower in 2011. He is Deputy Chair of the Board of British Youth Opera, the UK’s opera training company, and enjoys flying light aeroplanes.
